Here's the best and almost unique place to eat in the village. The house is full of charm and, in a warm, tavern-like atmosphere, you can sip a good coffee or sit down to a hearty meal. Admire the decoration based on family heirlooms. It also serves as a guesthouse , with 8 rooms tastefully decorated in a vintage and somewhat variegated style. In both the restaurant and the guesthouse, the welcome is competent, professional and smiling.

This popular café, next to the witchcraft museum, offers mostly fish dishes, a local specialty of course, but also pizzas and even tartiflette! The menu is eclectic, but the quality of the dishes is unequalled, as is the friendliness of the staff (some of whom speak French). On sunny days, the terrace is very pleasant to have a drink or a meal. Please note that the service can be a bit slow at times, as the staff also manages the ticketing for the Museum of Witchcraft.

This is undoubtedly one of the best addresses in the area, located in a beautiful and vast green house not far from the port and a stone's throw from the Museum of Witchcraft. On the menu, pizzas and coffees of course... but also and above all, good dishes based on local products (lamb, cod, langoustine...). In summer, mussels in white wine are on the menu. The quality-price ratio is good as well as the conviviality and the authentic atmosphere. The only downside is that the service can sometimes be a little slow, so it's best to be aware of that!

This restaurant is famous for its fish and seafood dishes, served in a friendly atmosphere. The selection depends on the catch of the day and is served with potatoes and stewed vegetables. Buffet formulas only. A very good address and a warm welcome.

To eat or to warm up, think of this nice little place with a view on the fjord, and, with luck, some whales will pass by. On the menu, soups and paninis for lunch and lamb or fish for dinner, with a choice of salads. Presented on pretty plates, the dishes are delicious and generous. For those with a sweet tooth, opt for a slice of home-made cake, so good! Finally, the service is as good as the meals (some waiters speak French), so perfect that we can't wait to come back!

On the guesthouse side, several options for accommodation in recent wooden houses. The rooms are clean and functional, some of them a bit small, the breakfast appetizing and generous. This is in fact the former Braeðraborg café, which means "Brothers' House", named in tribute to the former watchmaking company founded in 1907. After a complete renovation of the building in a very rustic style, the café is now called Heimabyggð. Take the time today to enjoy their freshly baked bread, numerous vegetarian dishes, cakes, gluten-free cookies and hot drinks. Very popular, it's a real haven for travellers who love organic produce and a warm atmosphere.

Fancy a meal on the go during your visit? Feast on delicious fish & chips, with particularly incredible fresh fish and generous portions! The place is modest, but the food is good. There's also a delicious fish soup and a fish pizza for those who like it. The service is fast, and the value for money is excellent. When the weather's nice, it's a pleasure to sit outside on the tables and enjoy the fresh air.
