The most common whale species in Skjálfandi Bay are harbor porpoise, white-beaked dolphin, Minke, humpback and blue whales. Gentle Giants also offers extra warm clothing on board their boats, but passengers are advised to bring their own warm, waterproof clothing. In the event of bad weather, excursions may be cancelled or modified for safety reasons.
