The Nordic area offers 176 km of trails in a wild environment on 3 sites: Chaud Clapier, Lente and Col de Carri. For downhill skiing there are 9 ski lifts and 16 trails. There are also sledges, snowshoes, dog sledding and snowkiting. In summer, it's hiking on the magnificent Font d'Urle mountain pasture, home of the marmot families.

Winter: at the gates of the Vercors highlands, the site of Herbouilly offers an ideal departure for lovers of pristine nature and large spaces. This small resort is home to a few buildings, including an inn, a bar, an equipment rental company, etc. The Col de Rousset is appreciated by families, especially for its very affordable rates. It offers a vast and wild alpine ski area, with 29 trails and a Nordic area with 12 km of marked trails and 15 km of paths reserved for snowshoeing. Experienced sportsmen can even leave from the Rousset pass to cross the Vercors High Plateaux by ski touring. In summer, families are also welcome with multiple possibilities to spend a day in the mountains for a hike, a picnic or more. You can take the chairlift, go back down on a scooter, try your hand at drop bag or pumptrack, go tobogganing, play a series of free wooden games. New in 2022: the Explor Game with digital tablet (see at the tourist office) to discover the Vercors in a different way and to discover the Fabulous Mysteries of this fabulous massif. More than one animation and more than one reason to reach the Rousset pass and to pass this tunnel at the entrance (or the exit!) from which you have an exceptional aerial panorama on the Diois.

Have the green reflex: opt for the shuttle which can take you to the Col de Rousset from Crest, Saillans, Mirabel and Blacons, Espenel, Die and on the Vercors side from Vassieux, la Chapelle and Saint Agnan (and vice versa).

It is one of the three gates of the Nordic domain of the Haut Vercors. 8 km from the villages of Saint-Martin and Saint-Julien-en-Vercors, the Nordic site of the Herbouilly plateau is linked to the Hauts Plateaux on the Isère side (Corrençon-en-Vercors) and Bois-Barbu (Villard-de-Lans) by 130 km of ski runs. Thus, Herbouilly is part of an exceptional Nordic site which reveals striking landscapes with a Scandinavian atmosphere. Loops of 3 to 30 km are suitable for snowshoeing. There is also a two-level sledge run and "Pistatou", 800 metres of multi-discipline runs. Dog sled rides are possible in Saint-Martin-en-Vercors. In summer, the site changes its appearance and it is the door open to hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding and even the possibility of a via corda on the cliff. You can also go climbing, paragliding or caving. There are also two key summer activities, the Filambule, a course of nets where you can move between the trees in complete safety, accessible to all, young and old. And the Chevalier Oscar trail is an adventure course and agility tests, this route in the forest is fun and family. It is the Haut-Vercors and a preserved natural area of great beauty that should be discovered in all four seasons, with family or friends. A site that is appreciated all year round; In winter: the Nordic resort of the Col de Carri has a difference in altitude that makes the 60 km of cross-country ski trails sometimes difficult, but always very pleasant. You can also practice sledging, snowshoeing and dog sledding. In summer, there are many marked hiking trails. The pass allows you to reach La Chapelle-en-Vercors from the Lente forest, or from the Machine pass if you come directly from the Isère valley.

Located in the heart of a magnificent national forest, the hamlet of Lente and its Nordic ski trails are part of the Nordic area: Lente - Carri - Chaud Clapier and the alpine resort of Font d'Urle - Chaud Clapier is 7 km away. In winter, you can practice cross-country skiing on a 40 km area of marked and groomed trails. Snowshoeing is also possible. Before leaving for a loop, you can learn to ski on the starting lawn while the little ones go sledding. Summer: you can walk, ride a mountain bike or ride a horse on the trails through the woods and up to the ridges.

It is the most alpine of the Drôme ski resorts. At the foot of the Aiguilles de Lus, the resort of Lus-la-Croix-Haute is nestled in the heart of one of the most beautiful mountain sites in the Drôme. This family resort nestled in the hollow of the Jarjatte valley invites you to practice alpine skiing and has a magnificent Nordic area. There are also toboggan runs and an ice fall.
