PORT DE SANARY-SUR-MER

Port
4.9/5
7 reviews

Sanary-sur-Mer is a bit like Saint-Tropez, only less overrated. Or perhaps it's the Saint-Tropez of before the glamour craze that has taken over, with all the starlets and yachts that invade its port in summer. Sanary-sur-Mer, on the other hand, has kept its small fishermen's port and remains very authentic. Here, you can admire the pretty, colorful fishing boats known as "les pointus". You'll love taking photos of them, so picturesque and typical of Sanary. A wide promenade is planned for 2024.

5 km north of Le Castellet, the international airport is also close to the Paul Ricard circuit. It has undergone many improvements and has been managed since April 2016 by Toulon-Hyères Airport. Carrying some 6,000 passengers per year, it is primarily a high-end business airport. The architecture of the place blends perfectly with the Provencal style of the region. A good way to get around, provided you have the means.
