Do you know Marseille's soccer sanctuary? The Stade Vélodrome was built in 1937 by the architect Ploquin. This "temple" of Olympique de Marseille is a mythical, thrilling venue where fans and locals alike are passionate about their favorite team, OM, as well as rugby matches with neighboring Toulon's RCT. Thanks to the European Cup, awarded to France in 2016, priority was given to the construction of this "new" stadium with its ultra-modern design . Changes were made to the structure itself: the stadium is now completely covered! With this^4th extension completed on August 15, 2014, the stadium is now classified in the UEFA "Elite" category. The new stadium now accommodates 67,395 spectators, in optimal conditions of comfort with renewed seating, and improved visibility thanks to a new configuration and seats closer to the pitch. The pillars supporting the roof do not affect the field of vision, and the lighting power is increased and distributed all along the structure for better balance. Last but not least, the adjoining shopping center features restaurants, an auditorium and boutiques. Take a guided tour of the Orange Vélodrome and plunge into the heart of the legendary club. For a good hour (only during school vacations), you'll have the privilege of going behind the scenes of this temple of soccer!

Offering in part an urban landscape (relative however: we are in Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône), then take us in a natural and preserved setting along the route of the beach Napoleon. Designed to some extent on the old railway, this small Green lane is ideal for budding enthusiasts! Only four kilometres long between Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and Mas-Blanc-des-Alpilles, a track almost flat, with the coated smooth; many criteria that make it accessible to everyone! Jogging in the morning, cycling in the afternoon walk in roller-skate, there are many activities here! Attention, the green lane is not indicated in Saint-Rémy. To reach it, it is necessary to engage in avenue Mistral, in downtown (D5 towards Maillane). At the roundabout, take the avenue du Maréchal-Juin, on the left, and continue on avenue du Général-Koenig, opposite. The green lane begins further, on D99.

Two hours walking, one hour running, this course presents itself as a good option for Sunday walk as for daily jogging. There is little risk of losing you: The, forest is bordered by four ponds - Lavalduc Pond, Engrenier Pond, Can Pond and Citis Pond. The itinerary starts at the parking lot preceding Saint-Blaise chapel. Shortly after this building, do not miss the archaeological site of the same name: it dates from the Iron Age and if the heart tells you it is open to the public.

This championship brings together over 80 high-level professionals from all over the world to the David beaches. A unique event in Marseille, as this is the first time that the Marseille city has a world-class test with a series of W-shaped slalom courses. A week that celebrates windsurfing and gliding sports. 

This race will take place in the middle of Marseille on a loop of 5 km, including 3 km in Borly Park and 2 km around the racetrack. What can be found in the southern sun? Go to your shoes!

The Excurs (Marseille hikers!) once again offer their great appointment in the coves, for all the good walkers. Several courses are offered, with different starting points. The 108 ^th critérium of the coves - on registration! -it is an imposed march of 16, 24, 32 or 38 kilometres in the coves between Cassis and Marseilles. It is open to everyone!

On March 11, 2018, the Commune-Mirabeau commune will host the 37 ^th edition of its spring race. In the programme: a 5,1 km circuit exclusively reserved for women's gente, and a 11,3 km circuit to browse alone or by team. Join the 500 participants in this user-friendly challenge! Rewards will be given to the end of the test, but remember that anyway, the important thing is to participate!

This gymnastics competition has been held in Marseille for 35 years. This year again, this great event will take place at the Palais des Sports, near the Velodrome stadium. Three days of competition by teams or individuals, of meetings between enthusiasts, amateurs and professionals. The Master Massilia brings together the world's best while the Tournoi des Cigales gives a chance to the regional hopefuls from 9 to 13 years old.
