After 15 years of broadcasting where he travelled the world alone with the challenge of sleeping with strangers in different countries, Antoine de Maximy returns to the forefront with an idea of fiction inspired by his adventures. And for that, he needs you! He wants to raise the necessary funds to produce his film through participatory financing. An original initiative
Antoine de Maximy is a whimsical character and a great traveller much appreciated by his audience, fond of funny situations where he has often filmed himself while travelling. But no one really expected him in the film industry, nor did the producers. It therefore quickly encountered funding difficulties
But the globe-squatter, Antoine de Maximy, is not afraid and has not let himself be beaten down! He therefore decided to find the necessary funds for his film through participatory financing. To do this, he called on his community (more than 300,000 fans who subscribed to the official Facebook account of the show "J'irai dormir chez vous") and travel enthusiasts by launching a call for donations on Kisskissbankbank and it started off pretty well!
An attractive synopsis
The synopsis of his film "I'll die in the Carpathians" is indeed really original and encourages many fans to make a donation: The story begins with a common car accident on a mountainous road in the Carpathians. The car was swept away by a river and the body of the globe-squatter, Antoine de Maximy, was not found. Luggage and equipment are repatriated to Paris. Agnes, the editor of the series, decides to finish this last episode. After viewing the images, she starts editing the film. But details caught his attention. Agnes is beginning to have doubts. The story may not be that simple...
The shooting will take place in the Carpathians in Romania and on this occasion, you can discover the superb landscapes of this mythical and remote mountain range of Central Europe, where the castle of the famous vampire Dracula is located...
