Markets Marrakech

The old Jewish quarter of Mellah has three markets where it is good to stroll. The jewellers' souk brings together about fifty merchants, selling mainly gold. As for the covered market, it houses fabric stalls and a profusion of haberdasheries. The spice souk offers an impressive variety of spices and mysterious goods not always identifiable, but also common products such as black soap, henna or ghassoul: do not hesitate to ask herbalists about their use, it is very edifying.
