A classic in Quebec cuisine, it has an undeniable rustic character, a touch of kitsch, with a huge wooden fireplace in the centre to warm us up in winter. To taste: the essential smoked ham with maple wood and the hearty breakfasts, not to mention the "Meals at Sugar Time" menu offered all year round. A takeaway counter also offers a tourtière, leg stew, smoked ham with maple wood, pea soup, greaves, maple syrup pie, cream sugar and other homemade specialities.

There's also an excellent wine list, and the staff know a thing or two about wine to advise you. Mention should also be made of the restaurant's design, which uses raw materials to give it an industrial-chic look. We'll definitely be back!
