Valmont Plein Air is a bistro with a regional flavour, where gourmet dishes are prepared with originality. Breakfasts, bistro menus (fish & chips, burgers, poutines including the famous shrimp poutine, pizzas, etc.) and evenings (land & sea, fisherman's plate, filet mignon, etc.) are available. Don't miss the fine selection of Quebec beers and the crèmerie, offering delicious ice creams with elaborate blends. Finally, you can also rent kayaks and electric bikes to stretch your legs.

Located in the heart of downtown, this bistro-bar is a well-known gourmet address for locals and visitors alike. On the plate, fish and seafood unsurprisingly take center stage in dishes such as the famous shrimp poutine, lobster club sandwich, fish & chips or Gaspesian bouillabaisse. Snacks, pastas, pizzas, lunch salads and grilled meats complete the menu. To accompany the boustifaille, the bistro offers a fine selection of local beers and wines, mostly from Europe.

A family business known for its retail sales of fresh, frozen, salted and smoked fish and seafood (free ice and packaging for travellers), as well as its range of homemade products, including the delicious fish soup. Another asset: a dining room with a terrace annexed to the fishmonger's shop, which has been a great success. The quality of the seafood dishes and their freshness mean that the restaurant is packed every evening. The fisherman's plate is a must try! A classic for over 30 years. Reservation recommended.

Located just a few steps from the sea, flanked by its large sailboat and maritime decor, the Cantine des Navigateurs offers a tasty on-the-go menu: homemade fish & chips or cod croquettes, lobster club sandwiches, shrimp guédilles, bouillabaisse, not to mention typical snack dishes (burgers, hot dogs, poutine, smoked meat, fries...). All you have to do is accompany it with a good Gaspesian beer. Takeaway meals are also available, as is an outdoor terrace.

A must stop, a must in the region since 1968! Captain Lobster, as his name suggests, prepares his seafood and fish specialities for you, but lobster remains in control of the place. The prices are excellent, the portions are generous and the view is magnificent. A shop, which looks more like a museum, contains souvenirs, crafts and works by local artists. Also on site: a fish shop and games for children. To stretch the pleasure, it is possible to rent a chalet or a camping site on site.

For a gourmet breakfast or a dinner of local flavors, La Maison Mathilde is a very popular address in Percé. To get the day off to a good start, we recommend the famous eggs Bénédicte, available here in almost a dozen different options. In the evening, fish and seafood take center stage (with a special mention for the seafood platter for two), not to mention the fine selection of starters that can be shared to sample almost everything. But whatever the time of day, the superb terrace overlooking the sea is a must.

What a wonderful discovery, and we'd like to thank our pirate-in-chief Stéphane for the tip! In a beach bar atmosphere, with our eyes riveted on the ocean, Percé Rock and Bonaventure Island, we come here to taste the best the sea has to offer. Almost everything is here, from cod acras and oysters to red tuna tartare and a plate of whole lobster. If you want to try all the starters with a lobster and two sections of crab legs, the platter for 2 is highly recommended. A fine selection of spirits, including cocktails and local beers.

Located in front of the sea, the Cantine Sainte-Flavie is famous for its famous lobster club sandwich, but also for its lobster guédilles (among the best in the region) and its poutine with small shrimps. And here we really don't skimp on quantity! The menu also includes typical snack dishes such as subs, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, fries and tutti quanti. The place also offers take-out and a terrace to eat on the go under the Gaspesian sun.

We couldn't wait to try out this address, and we weren't disappointed! Of course, we enjoyed a lobster guédille, the emblem of the place, accompanied by a Virgin Bloody from its little brother, the Shack à slush, located right next door. It was simply DELIGHTFUL, all seated on a lovely open-air site overlooking the sea. The menu also includes other sliders (shrimp, crab, etc.), paninis, veggie bowls and more. Bonus: chalets, trailers and camping pitches can be rented right on the site to stretch the pleasure. A truly top-notch address!

Those who knew the Café Champêtre in Percé will now find a gourmet address in its former premises. Four young entrepreneurs from the region started this snack bar in the middle of a pandemic with the desire to offer small and large dishes with resolutely local flavors. And it's hard to beat that when you know that the team calls on a picker to harvest, among other things, berries and wild mushrooms. Nice selection of cocktails and wines too. A great address for brunch, lunch, dinner or an aperitif.
