I part in South India, Pondicherry, the beginning of July. They were wonderful.
The only exception: the tailor Gaur Kala! A real catastrophe. If the shop were pleasant, the results them were disastrous, and expensive. I ordered copies of 3 dresses, one of which silk, and a top. Only the summit is properly cut. The finishings other clothes are terrible, the have not even right, surpiqueuse you did not function, suspect fabric ends outdated and I will have to freshen up this clothes if I want can bring them! Owner me had found that there was no problem for the delay (I did not stay on site that a week) and when I complained about the results, it told me that I was too demanding and that it was a French tare! I was completed by one of my friends, originally from Pondicherry, which ensure me that it was inadmissible and flight! Here, I recommend travellers beware and nothing to pay in advance.
Good travel nevertheless in this region full of colours and magic.
