The town of Limoges has recently had its aquatic centre. Inaugurated with great pomp in January 2015, this 2 500 m ² space is located in Esther's area, not far from the cinema. There are for all tastes: 50 metre Olympic basin and removable diving for sportsmen, fun spaces for children, fitness room with gym and wellness area. Staff is available and very well informed about the operation of the site. During days of fine weather, you can enjoy the solarium outdoors. A place up to expectations and victim of its success… Avoid Wednesdays and weekends if you can, to save your tail. Easy to access and ultra modern, it is the place of sport and leisure that has been missing so far in Limoges.

The aqua-recreational center is composed of indoor and outdoor recreational and sports areas designed for the whole family. Indoors, swimmers have access to a 25 m sports pool and a sauna-hammam area. For free swimming and leisure activities, head for the 200 m² play pool with its massaging jets. During the summer season, a whole park of aquatic games unfolds: 25 m pool, water games, pool with slide, playground, beach volleyball court, ping-pong tables..

Three important poles were built around the lake. In Santrop, it is the reception and entrance door of the lake. Here you find the house of the park, a pole of the community Tourist Office of Gartempe Saint-Pardoux. In Chabannes it is rather the reception of young people and groups. As for the Site site, it is oriented towards the practice of water leisure and the reception of tourist clients in residence.

The 12-hectare lake lies just below the village. You can swim there (under supervision) in July and August. You can rent pedal boats, canoes and kayaks, and above all mountain bikes! The lake's mountain bike base is the starting point for five circuits. The most difficult is Mont Gargan (30 km), and the easiest is La Villetelle (5 km). There are also tennis courts, a volleyball court, table tennis and children's playground. Numerous activities are offered during the summer. A pleasant setting.

At the magnificent Jonas site, fishing enthusiasts stalk predators such as carp, perch, zander and pike. A specially designed station is available for people with reduced mobility. You can also hire pedal boats to explore the 27-hectare pond. Please note, however, that swimming is not permitted. In the absence of swimming in the pond, outdoor enthusiasts can take advantage of the bucolic setting and ride their mountain bikes to explore the surrounding area.

The Forgeneuve lake offers water skiing. Whether you prefer classic skiing, wakeboarding, barfooting, mono-skiing or bi-skiing for beginners with a starter at the helm, our instructors are on hand to cater for all levels. They provide personalized instruction, from improvement to mastery, as well as training for competitors. Fun is available from an early age, with baby-ski discovery days for children aged 3 to 10.

A six-hectare lake in the immediate vicinity of Flavignac offers supervised swimming in summer afternoons, except Mondays. On-site leisure facilities include a children's playground, as well as areas dedicated to adults, including petanque and tennis courts. Volleyball and table tennis are available at the nearby campsite. Semi-shaded tables and benches are available for picnics. Fishing is permitted from April to October.
