Every year, on Mondays in July and August from 17 p. m., the festive market of producers in the Country of M invites you to the Champ-de-Foire to discover the products of the Corrézien region. In a warm and lively atmosphere, you will find more than stalls featuring apples, black duck pork and other limousines meats, jams, trout, cheeses, preserved, but also homemade homemade dishes in the region. At the bottom of the Dordogne Valley, this village is renowned for the dynamism of its fairs and markets. The market and the Champ-de-Mars and Marbot tickets are the rendez-vous of the Bellocois (1st and 3rd Friday of the month). Note the presence of non-food products and the sale of cattle on the days of fair. Wednesday and Saturday mornings, market days, Tulle comes alive. Whether on the promenade of the quai Baluze or near the station, thanks to the craftsmen of the food trades, there is plenty to shop with local products: foie gras, honey, milk-fed veal, chestnuts, ceps and chanterelles... A larger fair is held on the^2nd and^4th Wednesday of the month. Similarly, a festive market of local producers takes place on the last Sunday of the Festival of the Nights of Mother-of-pearl on the Cathedral square all day long.

The Maison Pascarel is a family business. Annie and Michel took over from their parents who ran a farm and did the markets. They opened this shop in 1987 in the tradition of good taste and authenticity. A veritable Ali Baba's cave of culinary pleasures, gourmets and gourmands will find a thousand and one gustatory wonders: fine wines (a fine collection by Mouton Rothschild), homemade beer from Bavaria, local liqueurs (ratafias with plums, walnuts...), seasonal fruit and vegetables finely selected for their flavour and quality, all the "fat" products from the Combe de Job and various homemade local products.

Various appointments punctuate the market calendar in Treignac. During July and August the local producers' market is held: every^4th Monday of the month, a dozen local producers are waiting for you to taste the simple pleasures of summer evenings in this pretty town. Under the magnificent 15th century covered market hall of the village, the summer market on Wednesdays at the end of the day brings together local producers and food lovers who come to eat there. Let yourself be tempted by the fattened duck produced in Meymac, the jams and blueberries from Jassoneix or the trout from the Millevaches plateau. Tables, benches and barbecues are at your disposal to consume market products on the spot so that you can spend a pleasant evening with friends or family.

The market of Brive-la-Gaillarde has its roots in the Middle Ages when the town was already a regional commercial crossroads. A few centuries later, from livestock fairs to fat fairs, the tradition has remained intact. Seasonal and local fruit and vegetables, freshly picked mushrooms, traditional salted meats, goose rillettes and tourtous await you. Between two tastings of figs stuffed with foie gras and wild boar sausages, it is not uncommon to come across a familiar face. It's a good idea for a celebrity, a man or a woman politician to show up at the market in Brive-la-Gaillarde. On the other hand, it's not very likely to see a lot of young women getting into trouble.
