With a surface area of 410 ha, the lake of Neuvic is fed by the stream of the same name which has its source on the plateau of Millevaches. The development of the lake, following the construction of the upstream dam, was the work of Henri Queuille, a politician who was several times President of the Board. Covering an area of 42 ha, this artificial lake was put into water in 1984, fed by the Farges stream. Swimming is supervised in summer. The leisure centre offers a number of nautical activities: sailing, windsurfing, rowing, canoeing, kayaking, children's playground, rental of dinghies, pedal boats, rowing boats. Fishermen will settle on the beaches to tease trout, roach and carp. The four-kilometre trail that borders the lake is passable on foot or by ATV. An artificial water reservoir on the Vézère river, the 100-hectare, 25-metre-deep lake has been awarded the "European Blue Flag" label thanks to the efforts made in environmental matters. It is the ideal place to relax and have fun, with family or friends. In an exceptional setting with a variety of meadows, wooded areas and rocky walls, the "nature sports resort" offers a wide range of seasonal activities: canoeing, rafting (on request outside the summer), pedal boat hire, mountain bike hire and trekking, with the possibility of introductory courses without accommodation. Beach with games for children and entertainment in summer: volleyball, petanque competition, table tennis and concerts at the snack bar. The club rents windsurfing, optimists, sailing boats, pedal boats, canoes and kayaks, and offers training and development courses, without accommodation, for small and large. For those who do not want to get wet, it is also possible to practice hiking, archery and fishing. Rowing is here the king sport and practice all year round, in competition and in leisure.

A pond that alone warrants a visit, and an after-midi ! This pond at 12 ha offers supervised swimming in the summer and the after-midi ! It has been fitted out, you will find diving boards, pedal boat rentals, as well as the possibility to practice windsurfing and even pêche ! Many games have been provided for children, who will also be able to go for a pony ride.

The Aquarécréatif centre is part of the tourist complex of Bort-les-Orgues Lake and allows access to the pleasures of water when you stay at the camping des Aubazines. For bathing: a basin heated to 26 degrees with a depth of up to 1 m 20 (nage, hyrdomassantes benches, brumisateurs) a paddling pool right next to the children and green palge facing the lake. For relaxation: A solarium terrace all around with deckchairs and parasols as well as a whirlpool bath. From 12 a. m. to 18 p. m., a snack offers drinks and fast food.

This inflatable water park on the 99-hectare Lac de Treignac, which has been awarded the Pavillon Bleu label, covers over 800 m². A summer afternoon paradise for all ages 6 and up. Swimmers must be able to swim, and children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. On the program: catapults, trampolines, floating cages, obstacle mats, floating bananas, giant towers with slides... Teens love it, little ones love it, and parents love it too! Come and relive the adventure of the "gabariers" on a tour of the Dordogne gorges above Argentat. Guided tours are offered Monday to Saturday at 3pm from May to October.
