On Sunday 27th April, the "Le Troubadour" hike once again offered a superb playground for mountain bikers and hikers who came in large numbers to discover this little corner of the Cévennes foothills. Indeed, 370 mountain bikers and a little more than one hundred walkers took part in this 6th edition, organized by the Association of the parents of pupils of the school grouping of the villages of Euzet, Saint hypollite de Caton, Saint Just and Vacquières and Seynes.

For the mountain bike part, the circuits proposed without ranking or timing, delighted all the public. A 10 Km accessible to all, a classic 25 Km which still gave access to the monotraces of the "Muraillasse" and the "Bois du Cade", then two stronger circuits of 35Km and 42Km making discover more technical parts with many new monotraces without forgetting the inescapable ones of the previous editions.

On the hiking side, 2 circuits were proposed. One of 10 km accessible to all plus a 5 km loop for the bravest. On these two routes hikers could discover panoramic views of the Cévennes, Mont Bouquet and Saint Just. With a very friendly atmosphere, supplies, good weather for hiking despite the storms of the previous night and not forgetting the very friendly welcome from the APE volunteers, the mountain bikers and hikers had everything they needed to have a great day.

These volunteers have done an enormous amount of work, clearing the brush, looking for monotraces, marking out, welcoming, refuelling...they now have to position themselves for next year as all the participants are asking for a 7th edition.
