The bullfighting of Thiais is ideal for beginners because it is convenient on the road. Two possibilities: 5 km or 10 km. A good way to discover the beautiful town of Thiais and its surroundings! The arrival will take place on the Jack Baudequin stadium.

Children, too, have their own film festival: less glamorous and media-friendly than Cannes, this festival nonetheless has the merit of exposing children and teenagers to original artistic practices and visual universes. An international, never-before-seen selection of fiction, animation, documentary and short films is screened for ages 3 to 15 in 18 art house cinemas in the Val-de-Marne.

The leisure island of Créteil, located a few minutes from Paris, is a place where it is good to relax. The more sporty ones will appreciate the nautical activities which are proposed there. Indeed, the lake of the park will allow you to practice sailing, windsurfing but also canoeing. In summer, the open-air wave pool will also seduce you. If all these activities can be practiced when the temperature rises, others can be proposed to you. All year round you can enjoy the fauna and flora, walks, playgrounds, etc.

The forest known as Notre-Dame, with its 2 056 hectares, has what to offer beautiful walks, accessible to the whole family. In particular, the Tree trail, which with its 2,4 km and 12 panels, invites a playful effort. On foot, on roller or by bike, you can also go to the 3,2 km loop that forms the discovery trail, and the reading tables allow you to learn about the surrounding nature.

If you are here on holiday, this is probably the most user-friendly way to explore the Val-de-Marne. And for the reason: your guide is no more than a resident of the department! A good opportunity to combine the pleasures of walking, visiting and meeting. All volunteers are guided by a common desire: that of sharing the history of their departments. You will visit with them the most unknown places, all on the background of anecdotes about their daily lives.

Course: registration must take place at least 2 weeks before the date of the trip (the number of visitors per group is limited to 6, in order to give priority to a genuine exchange); once your guide is found, it will give you an appointment to a metro station.
