Events calendar Hauts-De-Seine

It is nothing more than the second covered sports hall in the world, behind a Philippine arena, and very largely ahead of other American or European venues. Originally called Arena 92, then U-Arena, its definitive name has the merit of clarity: Paris-La Défense Arena. Initially, the project was dedicated to rugby, with the support of the Hauts-de-Seine Departmental Council. Nestled in an exceptional setting, 500 m from the Grande Arche de la Défense, this glass case is, let us say, the most modern in Europe. Retractable roof, mobile stands, high-tech installations... The stadium will be able to accommodate 30,000 spectators in stadium configuration (open roof), 10,000 to 20,000 in show configuration (closed roof, lowered partition) and 40,000 in concert configuration (closed roof). The Stones or Mylène Farmer made no mistake about it, and perform here.

A not-to-be-missed event in the Hauts-de-Seine region, the Marto Festival has been taking over the Théâtre 71 and other towns in the département for over 20 years. Over a fortnight, puppets and objects come to life, enchanting young and old alike. No fewer than twenty shows are put on for an ever-growing audience! Exhibitions, the Folle Nuit de la Marionnette and special sessions for youngsters and their families make this a festival not to be missed!

The first centre of creation entirely dedicated to digital, Le Cube is a unique experience in France. Open to all audiences, Le Cube is an area of practice, production and diffusion around digital creation. Its mission is to train the public in digital artistic and cultural practices and to support artistic productions. All year round, exhibitions, meetings, projections, conferences and exceptional events such as The Cube Festival, which exposed the new forms of digital creation in the city, are organized around the theme of the urban future. In the season program: a selection of videos from Guillaume Baychelier, the festival "Digital Unmask" with debates and conferences, where the appointments of the artisans of the digital.

Owned by the municipality since 1990, it is open to the public during temporary exhibitions and concerts. With a gallery of five rooms, the Maison des Arts also hosts the collections of the Châtillon museum. Among his illustrious owners, a Parisian goldsmith, a bookseller, a surgeon, the Duke of Bermingham - from 1827 to 1837, publisher Louis Hachette, artist painter Suzanne Frémont - 1876 - 1962, who founded the school of Fine Arts from Tananarive in Madagascar. Within the park you can discover a house of the th century wine-maker, the former house of the guardian, responsible for cultivating the lands and vineyards of the Religieux and Bagneux nuns.

The architect Fabian Karpinski drew this privileged place where the works have seen on the garden… Sales of paintings are organized at festivals as well as in Christmas or certain exposure periods. Openings develop throughout the year. In this décor, which recalls the sérinité of creative places, has already taken place the presentations of Haitian paintings, retrospective on modern art, drawings or painting-poetry. Sometimes, an exceptional concert gives the soundtrack to the exemplary models.

There are excellent exhibitions in this place, the strange love story between a man and his city who guided us in 2011 in artistico-fanciful or formalist méandres from New York to Warsaw, those on "From vision to revelation." The views of the storm even brought musical movements to the occasion. Then, with the following, materials served as a foundation for ever more creative forms, trips beyond the heights on themes around the day and the night, with the strange fruité of attendance on the «common theme of the bridge», and «human nothing alone», fascinating the public. 

Let's go for a bike ride on the wooded paths of the Meudon forest! Put your car on the level of the Etang des Écrevisses. After a steep warm-up climb, you reach the Île-de-France Greenbelt Trail. Then turn left: it will take you further to the pond of Trou aux Gants. At the crossroads, turn left; the Oak of the Missions will be your next stop. Are you there now? Turn left again up to the crossroads of La Calotte. You will then reach your starting point by the Dead Bottle Road, then by the Ursuline Fountain Road. Just one more right turn on Black Alley, and you should soon recognize the landscapes!

The backdrop of La Défense is André Malraux Park, and nature! A nature that is not so natural in reality, since the valleys and reliefs of the park were designed with the excavated material from the business district construction site! But the fact remains that, very close to your workplace and easily accessible by transport, this green space is ideal for taking a few steps at lunchtime or at the end of the day. The walk we offer you lasts two hours, and takes you to the end of the lake, but if you have less time, one hour's walk is already enough to enjoy the place. It is also a suitable duration of daily exercise!

In 9 kilometres, this green lane connects the Pierre Lagravère de Doves park at the Pont Bridge in Rueil-Malmaison. Without differences, it presents itself as a pleasant option and without difficulty to come to talk daily. You are in a quiet environment, along the banks of the Seine River, here the Impressionist park or even further afield, the chic and modern buildings of Rueil 2000. Bikes are, of course, welcome, they will simply need to cross the Nanterre bridge.

With its ^43rd edition in 2024, this Supercross has now established itself as Europe's biggest Supercross. Back in Paris since 2017 and then absent due to the health crisis, it has bounced back to offer quality editions ever since. A real show, it takes place in the superb Paris La Défense Arena complex. Supercross and freestyle are both on the program for this not-to-be-missed weekend-long event. All practical information and tickets are available on the website.

The Verena Von Lichtenberg gallery, held by the artist herself, brings together the paintings of this artist from Strasbourg who graduated from the Ecole Supérieure des Travaux Publics de Paris (ESTP Paris). Her work is oriented between architecture and contemporary art where colors and light dominate.

FIAC is a contemporary art exhibition held in Puteaux.

This communal theater offers shows for a wide audience and also has a bar.

Le Temps de Vivre is a theater company based in Colombes. It offers participatory shows and storytelling.
