With its Polynesian decor, the Trader Vic's offers an original setting to drink excellent cocktails. This international chain was founded by Victor Bergeron, one of the two creators of Mai Tai. It is therefore highly recommended to taste one of the many derivatives of this mythical cocktail at the bar, where the atmosphere can take it up a notch at the end of the evening. As for the restaurant, dinner is enjoyed while listening to music, since a Cuban band comes to perform every night. Beachwear to be avoided.

Anchored at the edge of the main building, on the waterfront and facing the mountains, the Parekh family bar is certainly nothing like a seselwa. But against a backdrop of a marina and neo-Creole buildings, it feels good, as there is a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for lounging on the terrace after dinner. On a wooden deck, you can listen to live music on weekends and be served a mojito, a caipirinha, a sex on the beach or a fresh mountain, or even a Guinness or a Coke. And the atmosphere rises quickly at the weekend... Crowded on Fridays!

A ten minute drive north of Victoria, the fief of the karaoke. Facing the swimming pool and the bar-terrace of the little Avenant hotel;; Friday and Saturday, from 19 pm (happy hour), not far from two thousand songs to play the star, microphone in hand, facing a giant screen disco, and with competition on Saturday: " special price for best singer ". The evening can be extended very late, burgers and hotdogs épongeant the SeyBrew.

Welcome to the archipelago's one and only gin bar! In the sumptuous setting of the Hilton Northolme, The Lower Deck will delight those seeking an exclusive, somewhat suspended moment as the sun declines. On this small wooden pontoon above the Glacis rocks, the sunset is simply marvellous. What better way to enjoy it than sipping an exceptional gin or gin-based cocktail concocted by the establishment's talented bartender? A moment not to be missed!

Within the incredible Four Seasons and by its superb pool, the Kannel Bar is a great place for a romantic aperitif if you are in the area, as you will be served with a smile even if you are not staying at the hotel. A few snacks and very good cocktails await you just a few meters from the Indian Ocean. And why not extend the pleasure at dinner time... It's a bit expensive, but the setting is really unique.

Immaculately white and facing the sea, the Gecko Bar is the perfect place to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets on the planet, with a cocktail or fruit juice in hand. On Tuesdays, it's a Creole buffet for gourmets, before the Sunday lunchtime barbecue or the Friday evening live band (7-9pm). In short, the Gecko Bar is a really nice spot to toast in a chic, hushed atmosphere.

This very pleasant café adjoining the interesting National History Museum opened its doors in 2021 and offers the opportunity for a nice fresh (or greedy) break facing the famous Clock Tower of Victoria. The terrace is very pleasant, the reception is always smiling and very good breakfasts are served until 11 am. Then, it's time for nougat coconut, delicious pastries, fresh fruit juice and nourishing and vitamin-rich smoothies prepared with local fruits of course. A nice break in perspective!

The Chatterbox is the little new café of Eden Island and the result is very successful! The decoration, where wood predominates, is rather nice and the coffees, teas, lattes and other sweets are of very good quality. It is therefore ideal for a small gourmet break on Eden Island, an excellent continental breakfast or a Full English breakfast (eggs, beans, bacon...). Some options also for a light lunch (sandwiches, wraps, cakes, burgers...). All to be enjoyed inside or on the terrace in Eden Plaza.

Here is a shack that we would like to enjoy every day! La Kabana, located on the beautiful beach of Port Launay, is the ideal place to have a drink and enjoy some tapas as the sun starts to decline. A perfect place for an aperitif with your feet in the sand, but you can also enjoy a cocktail or a good fresh fruit juice during the rest of the day, between a game of beach volleyball and a dive in the Indian Ocean.
