Pinto is a stilt restaurant located in an old traditional house in Lanta Old Town, with a large terrace offering a splendid view of the horizon. The menu offers perfectly executed Thai cuisine, the dishes are hearty and delicately presented. We recommend the Penang and Massaman curries, succulent. The welcome is smiling and the service attentive. If you are staying on the other side of the island, you will want to cross it every day to come and eat at Pinto! A great discovery.

I fell in love with this original restaurant. It serves contemporary Thai and international cuisine with exquisite, colorful presentation. On the menu: beef massaman curry, duck paneng curry, stewed pork... The desserts are not to be outdone. Creative and unusual. The setting is modern and simple, but well-kept, with welcome wood panelling. An ethereal atmosphere and very courteous service. A superb initiative rewarded by loyal customers who come year after year. We warmly recommend it!

The Baan Mai is a restaurant with a singular architecture with a lot of woodwork, well located only a few meters from Kamala beach. It is run by a friendly Frenchman who will be able to advise you for your stay. Swimming pool with whirlpool, sauna, massages, soft music and Zen atmosphere for this restaurant which is built all in bamboo around a very friendly wooden bar as well. Thai and French cuisine (go for the prime rib with roquefort sauce!). It's a must-see place, especially for local francophones

The establishment is split in two, with a restaurant part and another bar opposite, but both serve food.
