This Buddhist monastery open to the people who want to indulge in the pleasures of meditation lies in the city, just steps from the beach. Nestled in mangrove forests, it is a peaceful and very spiritual retreat that takes part in the monastic tasks and life.

More in the land, 30 km east of Ambalangoda, this monastery is located on the western side of the Forêt forest. After a bus for Neluwa, you have to earn a small walk of one hour. Affiliate a Galduwa.

This Vipassana centre, which has been operating since 1956, can accommodate up to 70 people. People who practice meditation can stay there for several weeks or months.
