From May to September, the Nautique water base offers kayaks for hire on time. You will have the choice between climbing the Cher or walking on the lake of the three provinces that it feeds on the edge of Saint-Via. The boats can accommodate between two and four people, so why not take them to paddle to the harbour of Noyer, and observe the locks of the Berry Canal? The water base also rents atvs to enjoy the edge of the Cher.

Looking for peace and quiet and a change of scenery? Go hiking with Sabrina and Laurent Clamens' donkeys between the castles of Chambord and Cheverny. These can be short, two-hour strolls, or multi-day hikes. The rides are suitable for even the youngest children, as the donkey can carry them if they're tired, and contact with the animals will enrich them. It's an opportunity to discover the forest, at the slow pace of the donkey. Le Monde d'Ossyane, a nature campsite, can welcome you with your dog or cat, on request.

Loire Kayak is a canoe-kayak rental service located in Vineuil, on the banks of the Loire lake. They offer a variety of trips on the Loire, with routes of varying distances and durations. Prices vary according to the trip chosen, and include transport by minibus, all necessary equipment (kayaks, paddles, life jackets) and a watertight canister for day trips, or a watertight canister per person for multi-day trips. They also offer stand-up paddle rental and Canadian canoes and single-seater kayaks for multi-day trips. It is advisable to book in advance and contact the company for shuttle times. Payment can be made by credit card, vacation vouchers or cash.

Les canoës-kayaks du Vendômois offers you a range of canoe and kayak river trips, either for beginners or advanced levels. This activity is supervised by a federal instructor on request, at certain times of the year only. Minimum 8 people. Please note that this activity is by reservation only: remember to plan ahead for full-day or half-day activities. With family or friends, it's a great way to discover the Vendôme area on the river Loir!

Free hikes (free) or accompanied by the Saint Ouen valley as well as nearby communes are offered through fifteen marked nature paths allowing for the observation of fauna and flora.
