Every two years, in September, the banks of the Loire are dressed in their finest finery and come alive with a thousand lights during the Festival de Loire, an event that moves the crowds. On the programme: exhibitions, jousting and lock-keeping demonstrations, boat races and parades, sailing demonstrations, tow horses, shows and street entertainment for all, concerts... This beautiful festival, an opportunity to travel back in time to the Loire navy, is the largest in Europe in terms of river navy.

With between 20 and 25 exhibitors each year, this rendezvous is a celebration in a very rustic atmosphere, in an extraordinary setting, close to a water mill that houses a fish farm. It is possible to organise a picnic on the spot all day long. The Fête festival is part of the great rendez-vous of the hunting and fishing fans of this department. For two days, in mid-September, the castle's park sounds like horns: Sully is located at the edge of the state forest of Orléans, which is one of the entrance gates of the Massif massif. A hundred exhibitors participate each year at this very busy event in the hunting ground.

Les Heures historiques de Sully is the perfect opportunity to relive history from Antiquity to the 1980s, with almost 1,300 costumed enthusiasts enthusiastically re-enacting these periods. The tumult of conversations, the song of cannons, the melody of old-time music: the picture is complete. A convivial atmosphere guaranteed! A multi-epoch market featuring over 100 exhibitors. Two festive evenings, one of which is devoted to the unmissable fireworks display.

Musik'Air brings together every year groups that are making a name for themselves, but also figures from the French music scene such as Ko Ko Mo or Madame Robert, who will be present in 2021! Volunteers rush every year to help produce this quality festival, which shows us the good atmosphere that reigns in this place! The atmosphere of Musik'Air is relaxed and all kinds of music are represented. A festival not to be missed and which has been going on since 2003 to discover the gems of tomorrow and to listen to the "classics" again!

This show is staged by combinations of Montargeois and Gâtinais engaged on social plan, cultural, media and solidarity. It fell under an alternative and committed approach. For two days, visitors can meet authors and can buy differently with the approach to the festivals and start the debate with other words. Of course, there are spaces booksellers and publishers meetings and debates are furnished with authors. But you should also note the presence of stands run by about local ngos that also offer exhibitions.

With more than 160 exhibitors and nearly 22,000 visitors, this renowned fair is a unique place to appreciate the quality of local, regional and national productions and to shop. A competition rewards the best products and new in 2021: "The Brewers' Village", a space that offers an educational and tasting discovery of the brewers' world.

A not-to-be-missed event since 2005, La Baule d'Airs brings together some 6,000 festival-goers each year to enjoy the music of amateur and professional brass bands. This 17th edition, under the banner of electro, promises to be a memorable one, with headliner MEUTE. On the program: a fair celebrating "outdoor music", 80 professional artists, 250 amateur musicians and 180 volunteers working to create a convivial environment. An inclusive festival that promotes "living together" and accessibility for all, not to be missed under any circumstances from May 17 to 19, 2024 in Baule.

The Festicolor festival celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023. It's three days of festivities, an opportunity for students from the Meug-sur-Loire music school to perform in public before giving way to national groups! The Festicolor showcases chanson à texte, pop, soul and world music, with performers to discover or rediscover. In the grounds of the Centre de Loisirs, the atmosphere is family-friendly, and new talent is discovered. Les Têtes Raides, Nolwenn Leroy, Imany and Danakil have all performed here.

Set in the th century as an English garden, the park of Châteauneuf-sur-Loire invites you to discover its unique plant species. More than hectares of greenery contain trees and essences from all over the world, which you can discover through a botanical trail and an educational trail that wind in the different parts of the park, presenting its protected ecosystem.
