Means of transport North Island

The train serves the cities of Hamilton, National Park, Palmerston North and Wellington. Travel to Wellington lasts a Day. You can also combine train and ferry with the Interislander of Wellington between the northern and southern islands. The train makes a half hour break for lunch and stretch your legs. A catering service is also available on board. Each train is equipped with an open platform and a wagon with large windows to enjoy the landscape along the route.

The airport consists of an international terminal and a domestic terminal. A free shuttle bus runs between the two.
