Things to see and do Kashmir

The island of Char Chinnar (or 4 Chinnar) is located on the lake. It is called so because four of these emblematic trees in Kashmir are resting there. The leaf of chinnar, which resembles that of maple, is a very well-represented ground in the kashmiris arts and crafts. Here you can stretch your legs after a long walk in shikara. Be aware that the lotus and lilies lakes of Dal and Nagin Lakes are in bloom in July and August, and that it is forbidden to collect them.
