This is the best restaurant on the island, within the Phenicusa hotel (one of the most comfortable). The view from the terrace is simply magnificent, overlooking the turquoise sea. We recommend the assortment of Aeolianantipasti, and the swordfish involtini, perfectly executed here by Chef Valentino. You'll only find a handful of dishes on the slate, as he draws inspiration from the day's catch and the market to create his plates.

You won't soon forget this restaurant, open since 1910, a real institution with a beautiful terrace. It is truly the closest and best place to see the activity of the crater of Stromboli. This is where you come to see the lava spouting in the dark while biting into your pizza. A good choice from the menu is the spaghetti with squid ink or the octopus salad. A free shuttle will pick you up if you book the restaurant, convenient.

This pretty little blue and white restaurant, a 10-minute walk from the centre, has a veranda with a view of the Strombolito and serves tasty Sicilian dishes at reasonable prices. Especially since the service is nice. We liked the octopus salad with lemon, organic olive oil, garlic and parsley and the selection of organic cheeses from the island as antipasti, the spaghetti with seafood, and the steamed fish with cherry tomatoes, olive oil and white wine, which was juicy, hearty and tasty. A very good address held by a French-speaking chef.

It is one of the best restaurants on the island, not to say the best. The restaurant serves good traditional local food, stuffed calamari and Sicilian macaroni. The redfish tartar served with the fish on the plate is delicious. The presentation is that of an international fusion cuisine, with little crunchy treats that spice up the dishes. The white setting is very classy, the terrace is furnished with benches decorated with cushions. And what spoils nothing, the view on the neighbouring islands is superb.

You can't visit the island without meeting this colourful, charismatic and multilingual character, who prepares a delicious cuisine inspired by his many trips and stays in India. Maurizio is as tasty as his food! From the aperitif alla Maurizio to the house biscuits dipped in Malvasia, not forgetting the spaghetti with windmill, perfetto! The smile as a bonus. Very pleasant garden at the end of the day. Reservation essential. We appreciate that the service, the bread and the tableware are included in the menu.

On a beautiful terrace facing the port, this renowned restaurant serves fish specialties, of course. But the style is more fusion, integrating local ingredients, such as raw swordfish marinated with lemon (from Sicily) and mint or tuna bricks with Malvasia wine (the wine of the Aeolian Islands). The local wine is also drunk in bottles... To have the privilege of sitting here and not to miss one of the best dinners on the island, reservations are highly recommended.

Hotel A Cannata offers apartments (from studio to three-room) with covered patio, sea view and kitchenette, as well as rooms with bathroom, in a charming Aeolian style structure. The rooms are spacious, with blue ceramic tiles to match the bedspreads and the horizon. The hotel's restaurant is very well known. The tables are set in the shade of a pine forest. Isolated in the south of the island 25 minutes from the port of Vulcano, it is the ideal place for all those who wish to escape the groups that crowd on the northern beaches. To the north of Porto Ponente, port of the Ponant, on the beach near Vulcanello, is this pretty little restaurant. The expression "feet in the water" takes on its full meaning here. At the end of the beach, facing the sea, the waves crash only a few decimetres from your feet. A wide choice of windmill specialities is offered to all lovers of culinary discoveries, as well as the inevitable pizzas. Of course, everything is fresh and home-made. Many dishes can be shared with friends to taste a maximum of specialities.

Just above the small port of Rinella, lost on the coast of Salina, this restaurant has a breathtaking view of Lipari and Vulcano. With its cafeteria look, it offers only local specialities such as the famous spaghetti with aeolian and swordfish, one of the most prized fish of the islands. You don't come here for fine dining, but for simple, hearty, hearty dishes prepared with talent. As its name suggests, the address is also a budget hotel for Salinas, with rooms overlooking the sea.

Here is an affordable, elegant and refined gastronomic table, stamped "slow food". On the menu, Aeolian specialities, revisited with sophistication, like the octopus tentacles artistically arranged with pearls of Cantalupo melon or this carpaccio of Mazzara red prawns with orange and bitter cocoa on a bed of peaches. The chef's speciality is the IDDU pasta "the vision of Stromboli", with a black crepe, ricotta from Vulcano, orange zest, red prawns, candied tomatoes and Bronte pistachios. Unique! The choice will be difficult.

We eat under a beautiful pergola and in front of an incredible panorama, as we are in rue du Belvédère! But the best is in the plate. They serve great food here, and yet in a very rustic, Sicilian and family atmosphere. Everything is delicious, but the speciality of the house is the spaghetti with sea urchins, and the fresh pasta with prawns, with basil. The pizza menu is also recommendable and the choice of compositions is interesting. The desserts, with their pistachio and chocolate chips, are to die for.

Good local cuisine with a wide choice of starters and especially primi piatti (homemade pasta and risottos). Try the eggplant gnocchi and the steamed fish, which are particularly tasty. Everything is served on the terrace or in the shade of the lemon trees. The tables are decorated with fresh flowers and the dishes are very delicate, placed on very decorative lava stone tables. Beyond its high quality Mediterranean cuisine served in a nice indoor garden, it is the nightlife of local youth. The deco is awesome! Cocktails and concerts animate the evenings. Only 50 meters from the port. Very good street address honestly gastronomic. Too bad the reception is a little cold.

This is one of the island's historic restaurants. The chef Zurro is a charismatic bearded man with a bit of an eccentric streak who carefully prepares his dishes following his own recipes. He really has talent, you will never taste such flavours elsewhere. Everything is on the daily slate, suggested according to his mood and the market. The fish specialities are served on a beautiful terrace. Try the antipasti del mare like octopus salad and squid with capers, and the tagliatelle with squid ink and shrimp. By all accounts, a must.

An originality in the middle of all these trattorias of fish specialities which will delight the amateurs of meats of mark and pieces of choice, grilled with the braise. The prices are very reasonable and it is preferable to reserve as the address is popular with connoisseurs.
