Created in 1982 by a handful of enthusiasts, the former Cross Buggy Club Brestois became the Western model Auto Model Club in 1996. Members share a common passion for reduced models and remote-controlled cars. They are located on two business lines, at the Le Doare room, in Brest on Tuesday evening, for testing their miniature electric fast, and at the Hanvec complex, in the weekend, for thermal, runways and tout models. These reduced gears are made for circuits, for recreation or for competition. There is a lot for everyone. Le Quartz, in addition to its cultural programme, offers workshops and courses in dance, theatre and music, all year round, either free of charge or for a small fee. This association of astronomical observation was launched under the will of Mr Le Hir. You will be able to discover and observe the universe. It is probably for this reason (the climatic hazards linked to this hobby) that the association's site is in fact a panel of weather observations updated every 5 minutes to know if the conditions are favourable or not for the observation of stars, planets and other galaxies! The aeroclub of Brest-Finistère has a model making section. It has more than sixty members who are passionate about aviation. They meet regularly at monthly meetings and exchange advice and techniques concerning the construction of their model aircraft, share their knowledge on the practice of flying. Planes, gliders, helicopters, the models are numerous. The club uses the Plouarzel ultralight flying field (north of Brest), which offers on 5 hectares a 150 m x 15 m stabilized runway and a club house.

Beware, legendary place! The mythical sailing school opened its first centre here, in Concarneau, many years ago since Les Glénans was created at the end of the war in 1947! Today it is the world reference for sailing teaching, with 15,000 trainees and instructors welcomed every year. From the beginner sailor, from the age of 12 upwards, to the experienced sailor who wishes to pass his or her sailing instructor's exams, via the numerous corporate courses organised by the school, everyone is welcomed with the spirit of the pioneers: a passion for the sea, the practice of sailing but also the spirit of association (it is even said that some people fall in love and find their soul mate there). Domaine de Menez € is a 680 hectare park nestled in the heart of the Régional Regional natural Park. It houses and protects several types of habitats and animals specific to Brittany, which could have disappeared without the work of the Domain owners. It is covered from thematic trails from 2,5 km to 8,5 km, such as an animal route (3,3 km) and an interpretive pathway of the Landes (2,5 km) or a forest trail (2,5 km). In Concarneau, when the summer comes back, you want to enjoy the beach as much as possible for sunbathing or for sports!
