The Brest railway station has the particularity of being just a stone's throw from the city centre and the tramway. A new mode of urban transport, accessible and fast, the cable car connects the two banks of the Penfeld (Brest's coastal river), the Lower Siam and the Capuchin Plateau. Formerly a fishing port, the Combrit Sainte-Marine marina is a delight for those who love places with a special character. Since the 19th century, the port of Combrit Sainte-Marine has been a privileged access to the Odet. It is a beautiful cabotage stopover in front of Bénodet, which can be reached by ferry from April 1 to September 15. The marina is in the perfect extension of the old granite port, and offers quality restaurants and accommodation, very pleasant. It has also been a member of the "Clean Ports" scheme since 2011. The port of Combrit Sainte-Marine offers 770 berths, 420 on buoys and 350 on pontoons, and 20 and 50 berths respectively for visitors.

The port of Concarneau is a must. Its location, leaning against the ramparts of the walled city, offers a remarkable historical setting. It stretches as far as the Cabellou peninsula in the Kersaux cove. The joys of the port in the town centre allow sailors to take advantage of the shops and restaurants. For passing boats, the marina provides a "visitors" pontoon in the fore-port! The advantage: the port is easily accessible thanks to a complete buoyage system.

Departure every 15 minutes, from 7:45 am to 8:15 pm in high season, about every hour starting from mid-September. The crossing lasts fifteen minutes. These companies provide service between Roscoff and the island of Batz. Attention, at high tide, Boarding is at the port of Roscoff, but at low tide, you have to go down the long walkway. The C.F.T.M. (Compagnie finistérienne de transport maritime) "Finistère Shipping Company" also offers seasonal tours of bay of Morlaix, with the rise of the Morlaix River or visiting the island of Batz from several surrounding harbours Locquirec Plougasnou, Morlaix and Carantec. Located less than 10 kilometres from the city centre of Brest, Guipavas airport satisfies more than one million passengers a year. It offers many direct destinations, but also flights for holidays, whether in France, Europe or elsewhere. A large choice of regular national flights and some thirty holiday destinations are offered. The originality of the terminal: it is shaped like a Manta ray. A shuttle bus from the Guipavas door tram takes you to the airport. It serves the airport 20 times a day.

Located in the city centre, the Vauban port of Camaret is a busy port of call with more than 8,000 ships passing through each year. It should also be noted that Camaret has been carrying the Blue Flag label since 2002. For the record, in the 1960s, it was famous for its lobster fishing. Its transformation into a marina is a real success. Today, it has 500 places for residents and 250 additional places for visitors. Camaret consists of three ports: the port of Notic (in the city) for visitors, the port of Styvel (also called the furrow port) for boaters on annual contracts, and the Vauban port (or the port of the tip) for larger vessels.

Opened and commissioned in 2012, the tram was quickly adopted by the Brestois and is now part of the urban landscape. Line A, 14,3 km long, crosses the east agglomeration in west and has 28 stations. Rest assured, the journey time is about 40 minutes from one end of the line! The tram thus crosses the town of the Porte de Plouzané (front of Thales) at the Porte Gate, in the Froutven area, or the Porte Gate in the Kergaradec area. The line runs from a. m. to p. m. Monday to Saturday and from p. m. to p. m. on Sundays. It offers departures every 5 to 10 minutes between 6 a. m. and 20 p. m.: thus, waiting times at stations are minimized. The rames are equipped with suitable platforms for disabled people and bicycles can pass through the tram at certain times of the day. Smart: The tram is part of the Bibus network and its users can use tickets interchangeably in the tram, bus and cable car. Tickets can be purchased directly at the Bibus agency or at the terminals at each station.

The company Finist'mer proposes to connect the continent to the island of Ushant, as well as to the islands of Molène and Sein. To reach Ushant, three possible ports: Le Conquet, Lanildut and Camaret. To reach Sein, a port: Audierne. Aboard modern boats, you can reach the islands at the end of the world in 30 to 50 minutes, depending on the crossings. The ships are comfortable and adapted: large panoramic windows, excursion seats, seating on the upper deck for a better view of the islands, everything will contribute to a pleasant excursion. But beware, the crossings do not take place all year round: the company proposes to reach the island of Sein from early July to mid-September; from Le Conquet, you can reach Ushant from mid-April to late September and Molène from early June to mid-September; as for the departures from Camaret and Lanildut to Ushant, they take place from mid-April to late September, once a week. Please note: bicycles (except for Ushant) and animals can be taken on board (price not included).

If you do not want to take the taxi or your car to reach the city centre from the airport or alternatively, you can take the Bibus shuttle, which connects the airport to the Porte de Guipavas tram station in 10 minutes. From there, the city centre is only a few stations and accessible with the same ticket. The hours are tight on the main arrivals and arrivals of the aircraft. This service is provided from a. m. to p. m. (depending on day), 7 days a week, year-round (except May 1). Outside the hours of operation of the tram, the shuttle departs from the train station. Four regular lines were added to the 44 already present on the Penn-Ar-Bed network managed by the Conseil général du Finistère. A number of opportunities are available to you. If you are a frequent user, the General Council has set up an annual subscription for your journeys on the 48 regular network lines serving Finistère (except the Quimper-Brest line). It costs € 400 (the rate is reduced to € 320 for young students under the age of 25). It is also possible to take a monthly subscription at € 40 (€ 32 for young people). If you are rather occasional travellers, you will always have the possibility to purchase your tickets to the unit at the single price of € 2 (€ 1,50 for those under 25) or per book of 10 tickets to € 15. If not, for the Quimper-Brest line the maximum rate is 6 € (3 € for those under 25 years). And with a ticket, you benefit from free correspondence on the network (except the Quimper-Brest line) in the day. You will also have access to the urban networks of Quimper and Morlaix. Without forgetting an hour of free correspondence on the Brest bibus. It's worth it! Also: the network lines are open to all users. And students can still benefit from the Transcool + subscription. Parking at the port of embarkation offers only few places, which are in season, taken of assault. It is best to park on the parking lot located at the entrance of the Conquet, it is certainly paying, but the shuttle the summer goes down to the pier. If one stays on one of the islands two to three weeks, there are possibilities for a car.

Quimper Cornouaille airport offers many destinations with connecting flights, operated by the company Chalair (Air France), such as Marseille, Nice, Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Montpellier... It is a small and very accessible airport that is perfect for families and professionals alike. Its offer complements that of Brest airport, which is more international. In the terminal, you will find some shops including car rental.

The Morlaix marina is located in the center of town, sheltered from the wind in all weathers. It has over 200 berths on pontoons or alongside the quay, and can accommodate any vessel up to 3 m draught. The marina has several showers and toilets grouped together near the marina offices. These facilities are accessible to wheelchair users. You'll also have access to wifi and free parking! Electricity (16A and 32A) and diesel fuel are also available.

The train station is located a 5-minute walk from the historic centre of the city.
