When to go Côte-D'Or ?

From Dijon to Nuits-Saint-Georges, from Beaune to Châtillon-sur-Seine via Volnay, in every season the Côte-d'Or hosts numerous events bringing together lovers of culture, live shows, heritage, history, cinema, gastronomy and - of course! - wine. Here is a selection of some of the major annual events that cannot be missed. Don't hesitate to consult our Agenda pages: they will allow you to find out even more!

The Côte-d'Or has an oceanic climate with a semi-continental trend. The ocean brings frequent rainfall throughout the year and changeable weather. The semi-continental influence brings cold winters with frequent snowfalls and summers that are hotter than on the coast. In addition, there are sometimes violent thunderstorms, hail and even the beginnings of tornadoes. The annual temperature range is among the highest in France: 18°C.
