This little cottage that has been open since 1964 is an institution in the area, located on the lakefront in Tahoe City. We come here for a huge brunch with the family or a lunch with friends. The atmosphere is warm and family friendly in this amazing American style wooden decor. Bikes and other artifacts are everywhere, sometimes even falling from the ceiling. Degnan's Deli is Yosemite's rather nice but mostly convenient sandwich shop. Ready to welcome many of the vacationers in Yosemite, the place is huge. The food is rather basic: salads, snacks, sandwiches, pizzas, soups... All in a very copious format. Simple and efficient. With a large beer and wine list. The place is convenient for a lunch break or when you come back from one of the great hikes in the valley. You can sit around the big tables, inside and outside.

This establishment is part of Half Dome Village, which also includes a grill, bar, pizzeria and café. It doesn't offer haute cuisine, but it does provide a well-balanced meal. In the evening, a low-price formula with a meat or fish dish and a choice of two side dishes. Gourmets can also head to the Pizza Deck, which remains open all year round. At weekends, coffees and pastries are available at Coffee Corner.

Prices are certainly a little high for the region, but the service and presentation have nothing to do with the good San Francisco tables. Extremely tasty dishes, be it salmon, elk or traditional New York Strip Steak.

The preferred address of the premises. Warm and casual atmosphere to enjoy an American meal. Favourites are grilled meats (chicken or ribs) or the famous burger and its accompaniment to the choice: fries, coleslaw, red beans or mac & cheese.

This coffee shop set in a cottage in the middle of a garden makes you want to push the door open.
