A hotel where you can dine if the day has been long. The large dining room offers beautiful views of the lake.

The setting is absolutely delightful between large glass roof and beautiful garden! You can come to drink tea, taste their homemade pudding, discover the afternoon teas... Everything makes you want to take your time here. If we want to eat, we settle down and choose among the different options: light lunch (with creamy ciabatta with mushrooms, soup, quiche...), a selection of sandwiches (mayo chicken, shrimps, ham and tomato...), wraps... Very good value for money.

Large country style pub and restaurant. Popular with the locals because of the warm atmosphere, the more than good food and the reasonably priced beers. You can eat there every night until about 8:30 pm, afterwards you come for a drink. We come here to get the traditional dishes of the pubs: fish & chips, nice piece of beef with its sauce, fries and peas as an accompaniment. Or a lamb moussaka, curry, burger, lasagna... The products are local, it's simple and good.

Yr Hen Fecws, which means bakery in Welsh, is open for tea time. The owners decided to give a little lightness to the menu. Perfect for simple, but gourmet lunches, in a friendly and warm setting with a large fireplace, wood panelling and small slate as set of tables. A test.

The oldest pub in the city, built in 1600, has recently been completely refurbished. Nowadays, people eat good pub lunches in a comfortable setting, such as lasagne or spare ribs. Concerts are organized some evenings of the week. Smokers can enjoy the beer garden, with heating! The best part: we take advantage of the billiard table to learn or simply have fun with friends or other visitors to the pub, good atmosphere guaranteed! The reception is very nice, it's a sure thing around here.

A small tea room-restaurant near the river, on the site of a 14th century stone, Y Gegin Fawr (meaning "great kitchen") was once the rallying point for pilgrims before they crossed the sea to Bardsey Island. It is now a very pleasant place to stop, with its small round tables and beams decorated with beautifully painted plates. On the menu among others, crab and lobster according to the season, selection of sandwiches, soup... And until 11:30 am, you can also enjoy a hearty breakfast.

In the restaurant of the Royal Sportsman Hotel, there is a "2 Rosette menu" which includes, for example, butternut risotto; fried red mullet, mashed potatoes, tomato consommé and onion salad; Welsh pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, cabbage, parsnips and ginger juice. Before finishing with a lemon pie, chocolate brownie, or Welsh cheese. You can also choose more classic, less expensive dishes. All can be enjoyed in the hotel's restaurant or bar, for those who like a relaxed atmosphere.
