In this very simple and refined setting, The Granary is a typical and traditional bar-restaurant, which is renowned for its quality and relaxed atmosphere. The plates are well stocked and we enjoy the dishes on offer. The desserts in particular are generous, gourmet and very, very good! The afternoon tea, accompanied by small pastries, is very popular. One of the city's best gourmet addresses, featuring a garden where herbs, salads and vegetables used in cooking are grown. A warm atmosphere, with a menu that's a world away from the ordinary, and very reasonable prices. On the menu: sandwiches, starters to share such as halloumi, garlic bread... But also a choice of main courses. In the evening, the cuisine is more elaborate, with organic Welsh lamb, curry of the day, salmon fillet with potatoes and vegetables... 11 rooms available upstairs in the hotel of the same name.

In summer, the tables outside this tea room allow you to enjoy a dish made with local and seasonal products while enjoying a view of the beautiful cathedral. We enjoy eating at Pilgrim, or having an afternoon tea with friends or family, especially on the terrace! Everything is of good quality, with a special mention for scones... Very good coffee.
