In an old house full of charm, this restaurant serves good pizzas and proposes a menu of meats and fish. This is a good address to sit down to a meal when you are in Kemi, especially as the welcome is rather pleasant. We go there as much for the varied menu as for the place, in the middle of the park and very close to the shore, rather unusual for a pizzeria! Petronella refers to the intrepid woman journalist and adventurer known for her participation in the 1949 gold rush to the region. In 1989, Saara Mehtäjärvi created this restaurant that pays homage to her by offering a cuisine that highlights Scandinavian products by the fire. The dishes are superb and delicious: both the cep soup and the fish of the day. For the sweet side, the mille-feuille and the chocolate fondant are exquisite. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and one spends a pleasant evening there.
