This Renaissance style castle is the most inspired of the Loire castles with its sumptuous apartments, its gilded rooms...

Built at the beginning of the 17th century, this Renaissance-style castle seduces visitors and hosts numerous festivals. The sumptuous apartments, the gilded halls and the moats that have been reopened make Cormatin the most inspired of the castles of the Loire Valley, famous for its sumptuous intact decorations from the Louis XIII period. The 12-hectare park is also worth a visit, with its large labyrinth leading to the aviary-belvedere and its flower beds. In 2023, the brand new green theater in the gardens is worth a visit!

J’ai opté pour la visite guidée que j’ai adoré, Elisabeth notre guide était dynamique, agréable et captivante.

Les intérieurs comme extérieurs sont fascinants et très bien entretenus. On sent que l’équipe a à cœur de conserver et de faire partager ce beau patrimoine.
