In a park with trees and a perfect lawn, leaning against a sandstone promontory, the lodge offers 10 chalets. Built of masonry under their high thatched roofs, most of them in the shape of rondavels, they are spacious, equipped with all the comforts and decorated with great elegance. The greatest charm of this place is to see damans walking around the nice swimming pool and the open lounge where meals are served. An excellent address, where the team is very welcoming.

At the junction of Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa, lies one of the brightest stars in the Botswana tourism universe: the Mashatu Game Reserve. This 32,000-hectare (7,660-acre) expanse of pristine wilderness is home to some of the continent's largest elephant herds. Guests can observe Africa's predators, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, jackal and African wildcat on a daily basis.
Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu is a new addition to the Mashatu portfolio, situated on the banks of the mighty Limpopo River, with beautiful rolling lawns surrounded by sandstone outcrops. This 4-star camp has a swimming pool nestled against the giant rocks, a stargazing deck, a hideaway and hiking trail within the lodge grounds, and its own vegetable garden that supplies the kitchen.
Imagine exploring the ancient sandstone outcrops on foot, while admiring the giant baobab trees that stand between the rocks!
Eight luxury tented suites are spacious, airy and elevated. They feature canvas walls and roofs draped over wooden frames. Large wrap-around terraces provide a relaxing outdoor space with views of the Tuli and surrounding bush. The interiors are a modern interpretation of the classic "out of Africa" decor, with an open, flowing floor plan. All suites feature an island bed, sitting area, freestanding bathtub, large separate shower, double sinks, separate toilet and plenty of storage space.
One of the highlights of Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu is the "mobile table" experience - dinner and brunch in a different location for each meal. On a two-night stay, guests can enjoy brunch or dinner in the bush, as well as private dining in unexpected locations around the camp or on their own patio (private dining upon request). The lodge's extensive gardens and grounds include a large swimming pool, watering hole, hideaway, stargazing deck and hiking trail. Additional activities offered exclusively at Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu include after-dinner game drives and cultural experiences/village visits (full-day activity).
