Museum retracing the key moments of Iceland's history, a particularly interesting place, ideal for families
The museum traces key moments in Iceland's history and how the Icelandic people have lived for over a thousand years. Visitors are guided through the museum by an audioguide (French language available). Many of the exhibits feature lifelike wax figures illustrating important moments in the country's history, the design of which is explained during a projection in the museum. A particularly interesting place, ideal for families. The premises also house the excellent restaurant Matur og Drykkur.

Un musée extraordinaire, à voir absolument
Un musée extraordinaire, à voir absolument. En une quinzaine de tableaux vous aurez un aperçu des premiers siècles de la colonisation de l’Islande. Les situations et les personnages sont saisissants, et l’audio guide extrêmement bien conçu rend la visite très immersive.
