Scannabue is at the top of the list of restaurants currently in vogue in the Piedmontese capital and has plenty to defend its cause. In the heart of the cool San Salvario district, the successful setting of the venue oscillates between that of a Parisian bistro and that of an English club. Leather, wood, mirrors, zinc and bottles surround the small tables with green tablecloths, close together. Very fresh, the raw materials selected in the kitchen make up regional dishes without reproach. Wine list to match the cuisine.

My favorite restaurant in Turin thanks their amazing Piedmont specialties such as tajarin al ragù, tartare and a great selection of local cheeses. Scannabue also offers great Piedmont wines (Barbaresco, Barolo, Nebbiolo) by the glass. An absolute must visit.
