Overlooking the riva and the port, Republike square, with its Italian piazza feel, is one of the most beautiful on the Adriatic. A morning coffee on the terrace of this historic establishment is a must in Split. The interior is just as remarkable. This is the former Dalmatian theater, built in the 19th century by the Italian Antonio Bajamonti. Today, the brasserie lives up to its reputation, serving ice creams and aperitifs during the day, as well as dishes for lunch and dinner. The à la carte menu features fisherman's cuisine, pizzas and burgers.

Toni B was super nice and made our trip to Split very memorable. He knew the dishes and drinks very well and was very accommodating. His recommendations were even better! The food was so good we had to come twice! We recieved the best service and he is a very friendly person!

We came here for lunch on our first day in Split because the setup looked gorgeous, and we found the best food we had on our Europe trip! The food was incredible, I loved the seafood pasta and the burger. Toni B was our waiter both times and he was extremely helpful and charismatic. He was knowledgeable of the menu and very friendly. Amazing food, service and atmosphere, thank you Bajamonti and Toni B!
