"Welcome to Damascus! This is how we are warmly greeted as soon as we cross the threshold of his restaurant by Hassan Alzaraneh, all smiles. It's in the heart of rue Maréchal-Joffre that this chef, a former head of top Syrian restaurants, has set up shop. His manaïches and mezzés, many of them vegetarian, are finely crafted. Everything is homemade, and with love. Thyme, pomegranate, chili pepper, halloumi... it's a gustatory voyage, a subtle blend of flavors! Forget about falafel on the go: here, you take your time, it's as simple as that, and you're in for a treat. And we'll be back!
