The food shops and cafés are generally open from morning to late afternoon. Most offer a small menu for lunch. Bars usually open at 10 or 11 am and close at 2 am.
We advise you to go to the happy hours in the bars, it is possible to find cocktails for less than 10 US$, to be accompanied by plates to share at reduced prices. Often, happy hours take place on weekdays only.
As with restaurants, taxes and tips must be added to the final bill. All forms of payment are generally accepted.
In Florida, as everywhere else in the United States, alcohol consumption is legally permitted from the age of 21. This law is strictly enforced. Remember to keep your passport with you, as it may be required to verify your age. Without valid identification, you will not be able to order or consume alcoholic beverages.
