TimetableBars are usually open from 5pm until midnight on weekdays and easily 2 hours on Friday and Saturday nights. They are concentrated around Fort-de-France (on the side of the Etang Z'abricots), and in the south, in Les Trois-Ilets at the Pointe du bout, Le Diamant, Marina du Marin and Sainte-Anne.
Budget & TipsMany bars offer afterwork happy hours, between 6 and 7pm. Most waterfront restaurants on the beaches offer menus for a drink before dinner.
What's very localIf the ti-punch is an institution, many bars offer long cocktail menus and it is not uncommon to go for a drink after work while nibbling on some tapas or accras.
KidsChildren are welcome and accepted with a smile almost everywhere!
